ABOUT THE FEATURE:
Kae Piller is a Russian-American performance poet currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her poetry pulls from her experience with queerness, travel, and trauma to tell a story of navigating a complex world through all its pain and it's beauty. She is the founder and former host of Spit It Out! Poetry open mic night in Prague, and she is excited to share work from her two chapbooks, "The Patient Has No Friends" and "Unicorn Tears". She can't wait to visit Kansas City, which she has always adored on past visits!
***There will be a $3 cover to help support our traveling artist***
'Poetic Underground is dedicated to using poetry as a healing and community building tool to create a brave space where artists can gather in Kansas City.'
